About us
While gardening, tending an orchard, harvesting produce, copping wood and carrying water are all on the list, expanding the barnyard for animal husbandry is far from forgotten. With horses, cows, hogs, goats, dogs, rabbits, turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens being only resent additions, our main focus is to keep and promote rare, american heritage breeds of livestock that are considered to be perfect for a small family, homestead of a bygone era. So far 90% of our residing livestock fall under this category with most receiving critical status by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy.
